“It’s not just about the physical improvements but the sense of community and care it represents,” said L. Denise Shields. “It makes a huge difference in the lives of the women we serve.” Shields serves as a program administrator at My Sister’s House. A transitional living program for women, My Sister’s House served as the site for RTGC’s She Builds project in 2024.
