Clayton Homes Volunteers Improve Safety and Stability for a Concord Homeowner

Clayton Homes volunteers joined RTGC in Concord to complete a series of repairs that strengthened both the safety and long term stability of a homeowner’s property. The team focused on improvements that reduce fall risks, prevent moisture intrusion, and protect the structure from ongoing damage.

Volunteers repaired a porch, helped stabilize the foundation, and completed drainage upgrades to redirect water away from the home. These repairs are part of the core work RTGC delivers across the region to keep homes safe, healthy, and structurally sound for the families who live in them.

After the workday, Clayton volunteers gathered at the ClearWater Arts Center for lunch and a presentation by local artist Gordon C. James, connecting their service to the broader community. Juan Zambrano Photography documented the day so the impact can be shared with future volunteer groups.

Clayton’s support contributes to the repairs that help preserve affordable homeownership in communities facing rising housing pressures. We are grateful for their commitment and hands on partnership.
