Introducing The [Re]Build Center Powered by Lowe’s

Critical home repairs are rising across the region. For every home RTGC repairs, there are hundreds of neighbors waiting for help and many are facing issues that could have been prevented with early maintenance. That reality pushed us to think differently about how we support our community. Repairing the problem is essential, but preventing the problem is powerful.

The [Re]Build Center Powered by Lowe’s was created to meet that need.

This new training space is designed for hands-on learning, practical instruction, and community education. It allows RTGC to teach residents how to address small issues before they become costly emergencies. It also gives us the capacity to work with other nonprofit partners in the trades, host specialized training sessions, and build a pipeline of workshops that strengthen housing stability across the region.

The Center also opens the door to new possibilities. It positions RTGC to offer employer based workshops, custom sessions for community groups, and future earned revenue opportunities that help sustain our repair programs.

None of this would have been possible without Lowe’s. Their investment outfitted the space with tools, equipment, and the setup needed for real learning. Their support turned a concept into a dedicated hub that will serve hundreds of residents every year.

The [Re]Build Center Powered by Lowe’s is now open, and our workshop series is underway. We look forward to welcoming residents, volunteers, employers, and partners into a space built for prevention, learning, and long term housing stability.
