Lowe's Round Up for Charity Campaign Supports Rebuilding Together National

The Rebuilding Together National Office has partnered with Lowe’s Home Improvement stores across the country to support safe and healthy homes and communities. Between now and Feb. 2, whenever you shop at Lowe’s, you can round up your purchase to the nearest whole dollar at checkout to support Rebuilding Together’s mission of repairing homes, revitalizing communities, rebuilding lives.

Rebuilding Together is the leading national nonprofit organization repairing the homes of people in need, revitalizing communities targeted for gentrification, and rebuilding lives in the process. Through its national network of affiliates, including Rebuilding Together of Greater Charlotte, Rebuilding Together works proactively andcollaboratively with community leaders, long-term residents, funders and volunteers to foster dialogue and create safe, healthy communities across the country. The work of Rebuilding Together makes homes safer and improves the health of our neighbors.

Having a safe and healthy home and community is foundational to so many aspects of our lives, from a sense of community and safety to physical and mental well-being, to economic security and independence. The repairs that Rebuilding Together makes – all at no cost – have long-term positive impacts on the lives of the people we serve. For every $1 invested by Rebuilding Together and its affiliates in each home, there is a projected $2.84 in social value generated through improved health, safety, independence and cost savings.

The Lowe’s Round Up campaign features Rebuilding Together along with Habitat for Humanity as two leading housing nonprofit organizations.
