Our annual breakfast event returns for 2026, now conveniently located at the UNC Charlotte Dubois Center in Uptown Charlotte! This year’s presentation will focus on the social determinants of health - the ways your environment, home, and space influence your health and wellness. When we speak about a safe and healthy home, we’re not just talking about the obvious safety concerns you can see, but also the factors you can’t see that can change a neighbor's life.
Panelists for this year's discussion include Donald Jonas, Vice President, Social Impact with Advocate Health, Kathleen Subasic, Associate Professor, Occupational Therapy Assistant Program, Cabarrus College of Health Sciences, and M. Lori Thomas, PhD, MSW, MDiv, Executive Director, Charlotte Urban Institute and Regional Data Trust. The panel discussion will be led by Beth Morrison-North, Executive Director at Rebuilding Together of Greater Charlotte.
