Rebuilding Together National Receives $9 Million Gift From Philanthropist and Author MacKenzie Scott

On Oct. 19, the national office of Rebuilding Together announced a transformative donation to the national office. Author and philanthropist MacKenzie Scott gifted $9 million in funding to further our mission of repairing homes, revitalizing communities, and rebuilding lives. The national office is incredibly grateful for the generosity of Ms. Scott, which will help Rebuilding Together and its affiliates, like Rebuilding Together of Greater Charlotte, in expanding the work of repairing homes and revitalizing communities throughout the United States.

This gift could not come at a better time, as there is an increased need for the services Rebuilding Together and its affiliates provide. By using this funding strategically, the national office will be able to grow the capacity and impact over the next few years of the national office and Rebuilding Together affiliates, ultimately providing repairs to more neighbors in our communities.
